I agree with all of that, but what about all the millions and millions of Twitter users who signed up but don’t actually pay attention to it?
For instance, I at one time, about a decade ago, I jumped onboard the Facebook and Twitter trains because everybody I knew were racing about it. I would casually “follow” people on Twitter and read their tweets when notified, but I NEVER replied, commented, shared, “re-truthed” or anything else. I finally got bored with both platforms, stopped visiting them, and turned off all notifications before finally cancelling both accounts.
So, again my question is how many millions of Twitter and Facebook members are actually engaged as opposed to members that are not but just too lazy to cancel their accounts? I suspect it is massive and that many millions will flock to Trump’s site once it is fully operational
That’s where the top-down control comes into play, albeit more subtly. The silent majority either consciously or subconsciously know they are under the thumb of the woke infrastructure. Basically, they see what happens to people who dare to share opinions not sanctioned by the NPCs, and they self censor. It’s exactly what they want. Social dynamics are real in social media. They’ve been at this game for 2 decades
When Trump’s platform is fully up and running and there is no wait list, they should put up a banner post and ask, “Do you have a Twitter account?” Do you use it? If not, here’s how to delete it.” It would be telling how many users twitter loses in the following weeks.
