Excellent post. A slow rollout is not bad at all and it serves many purposes. John Solomon catches the essence of what the site is doing and i expect it to be rolling along in a few months with a solid foundation.
I never joined Twitter, but follow a few people. I first used it because of Trump during the fall of 2015 and it was primitive back then and people rolled with the changes.
Yep. The left is all about amplifying and hiding the real strength it has - which is amplifying, not performing. The look big because they control the press, the legal institutions, the bureaucracies, and they cheat.
A minority of the population effectively lying that it is a majority, and popular, and right.
The social media giants are all liberal hacks who cut off free and open discusison, because the truth is, they are not good people.
Double Ditto for me and my Mrs.
I have never had an I Phone. Always Android.
It is hard to believe they rolled this thing out without an Android App.
One death threat or other wrong-think and apple will pull Truth from the App Store.
Apple just pulled the Trump podcast for expressing his opinion about the election.
Not sure how this succeeds except as a web app.
I saw that but believe he was only talking about Apple users.
Might be nice if my account was ever activated there.
I know they have a large demand, and trying to give them benefit of the doubt but so far not able to even use it
I was the same way, I signed up the first day and was #233,362. My wife signed up after me and the following weekend with our kids she was talking about what she seen on TruthSocial. I assumed she had downloaded a bogus app and when I checked her phone sure enough she had gotten in. I waited about another week, then started a new account. I got in within two days. Hopefully at some point I’ll be able to use my first account delete my second account.
I agree with all of that, but what about all the millions and millions of Twitter users who signed up but don’t actually pay attention to it?
For instance, I at one time, about a decade ago, I jumped onboard the Facebook and Twitter trains because everybody I knew were racing about it. I would casually “follow” people on Twitter and read their tweets when notified, but I NEVER replied, commented, shared, “re-truthed” or anything else. I finally got bored with both platforms, stopped visiting them, and turned off all notifications before finally cancelling both accounts.
So, again my question is how many millions of Twitter and Facebook members are actually engaged as opposed to members that are not but just too lazy to cancel their accounts? I suspect it is massive and that many millions will flock to Trump’s site once it is fully operational
“I am normally very protective of Trump. However, I am baffled by the rollout and delays. I know they are building a new platform that must be super robust and handle a million new subscribers in a short period of time.”

Likewise I love Trump but this project started off by shooting itself in the foot and a month into it is still bleeding. The liberals are laughing at this Epic Fail. Trump of all people should have known better.
Of course everybody is missing the point, that in a free society, Trump shouldn’t even have to do this.
Once they get some of the bugs out of Truth Social, I’ll likely sign up.
In the meanwhile, while NEVER on Twitter, I signed up for GETTR. I know there is some criticism (Guo connection), but I have to say, GETTR has been fabulous.
FR is my main news, but I am finding so much content on GETTR that I don’t see anywhere else. I started following Bannon/War Room & added folks who are interviewed (regulars & otherwise), then added some ETMDs (early treatment MDs). plus others I see reposted.
A major “add” lately has been to follow Edward Dowd and his work on the Pfizer/Moderna fraud, the excess mortality rates that are occurring since the jab mandates (surprise: Millenials are the highest) and what he is now calling “democide”.
I also comment fairly frequently. It’s been a great experience this far. Those who have been banned from Twit & gone to GETTR are happily surprised at the ‘engagement’ they are getting ... Twit was shadow banning, removing followers, & Ed Dowd noticed that he’s being ‘shadowed’ on search - his name is way at the bottom. The PTB do NOT want his info getting out - it’s devastating.
That’s where the top-down control comes into play, albeit more subtly. The silent majority either consciously or subconsciously know they are under the thumb of the woke infrastructure. Basically, they see what happens to people who dare to share opinions not sanctioned by the NPCs, and they self censor. It’s exactly what they want. Social dynamics are real in social media. They’ve been at this game for 2 decades
What this article does not list are the number that connect just read and don’t punch likes re retweets.
Yep. No Android *OR* desktop browser version yet. Absolutely ridiculous.
“The liberals are laughing at this Epic Fail.”
Minus my complaint, I do believe he will get this working and it will be highly successful. So, he who laughs last will laug the hardest.
Besides, liberals are mean-spirited jerks, who cares about their laughter or tears.
If you value your privacy and information, delete your account from GETTR.
Their entire security staff are GONE. I deleted my account there a few months back when their Chief Security Officer was riffed. I wouldn't trust a platform like that, which doesn't value their user's privacy.
It's my understanding that there will not be a browser version.
I don’t understand the impatience. Everyone does realize they are doing beta testing on the site right? It will be open by the End of March. Everyone needs to be patient. I would rather have them get it right than roll out something with a lot of problems.
It’s not as if there aren’t those out there trying to sabotage it at every turn.
Nunes said the rollout is slow because they have to verify each user’s phone number before registering them. Apparently they require a phone number to sign up and verification is a manual process.
