Trying to figure out your resposne(s)... are you projecting, having a moment of self pity or is it regret?
It is obvious not everyone can commute let alone live on a scooter. I lived on a honda for two years as a kid and it was miserable.
Bray, Seriously... how do you extrapolate “living on a scooter” from anything I’ve said? I simply commented on making an economical acquisition/decision to offset rising fuel costs to MY advantage, not anyone else’s. BTW, grew up poor myself and successfully learned from it, though living on a honda as kid, would’ve been a blessing.
Now who is playing the victim. Were you a poor black kid growing up with nothing but a chair?
Just saying you buying the scooter is just what raising the cost of gas is meant to do. It is not an option or a solution for most people.

Wow... VICTIM? I was simply providing some commonality to your quip about “living” on a scooter for two years, your words... initially giving me the impression you couldn’t afford a different form of transportation.
You’re right about one thing, what I did may not be an option for most, but it’s mine. Also, very distasteful and flagrant assessment of who I might be by the way.
