They ruined the front range and much of the near-western slope. Further west it’s still a great place to live. 20 years ago we left Denver for the near-western slope and things were great. The secret now is to be too far from the front range for daytrippers to visit, which we did two years ago. Prices here lower than front range, and lots of great conservatives here.
I imagine it’s similar in other states.
We moved to Larkspur to get between Denver and Colorado Springs as a means to escape the stupidity that is Denver. Didn’t work. The Kali nuts moved in as much as anyone else.
We now live in Florida.
Another bonus, we get our produce locally, which means less food shortages. These people take care of their own out here.
