Anytime your solution is taxing a massive group of companies that sell an item almost everyone uses, it means their solution is they want to tax YOU more and make YOU pay more.

Seriously, how do they find people this stupid to run for public office? I’m sure the oil companies will not pass that tax onto the people buying gas at the pump.
