Trump showed respect and reckless behavior similar to Putin which kept everything from degenerating into a war. Further, Trump’s policy of taking care of Americans freed him from interference of everything on a global scale. Finally, Trumps policy of energy independence was critical for world stability.
Absolutely, Trump complimented scary dictators. Why? He was looking for an in to begin negotiations and change. That works better than sending in an armed forces and starting a war, then considering Nuclear war as an alternative.
