The authorities of the Republic of Poland, after consultations between the President and the Goverment, are ready to deploy – immediately and free of charge – all their MIG-29 jets to the Ramstein Air Base and place them at the disposal of the Government of the United States of America.
At the same time, Poland requests the United States to provide us with used aircraft with corresponding operational capabilities. Poland is ready to immediately establish the conditions of purchase of the planes.
The Polish Government also requests other NATO Allies – owners of MIG-29 jets – to act in the same vein.
Go to Walgreens and buy some calcium - for your spine.
Now Jennifer Griffen reporting this report is not accurate. Saying it’s an offer from Poland but that’s it at this point. Claims the story is being repeated by Russian sources.
Ukraine fusion is right around the corner, so what’s the big deal?
In total, the United States military lost in Vietnam almost 10,000 aircraft, helicopters and UAVs (3,744 planes,[3] 5,607 helicopters[2] and 578 UAVs[1] ). The great majority of U.S. combat losses in all areas of Southeast Asia were to AAA. All told, the U.S. Air Force flew 5.25 million sorties over South Vietnam, North Vietnam, northern and southern Laos, and Cambodia, losing 2,251 aircraft: 1,737 to hostile action, and 514 in accidents. 2,197 of the losses were fixed-wing, and the remainder rotary-wing. The USAF sustained approximately 0.4 losses per 1,000 sorties during the conflict, which compared favorably with a 2.0 rate in Korea and a 9.7 figure during World War II.[9][10]: 268
United States Navy Twenty-one aircraft carriers conducted 86 war cruises and operated 9,178 total days on the line in the Gulf of Tonkin. 532 aircraft were lost in combat and 329 more to operational causes, resulting in the deaths of 401 naval aviators, with 64 airmen reported missing and 179 taken prisoner of war.
United States Marine Corps U.S. Marine Corps aircraft lost in combat included 193 fixed-wing and 270 rotary-wing aircraft.
United States Army USA fixed-wing OV-1A/B/C/D Mohawk—65 lost[19] O-1 Bird Dog—297 lost
USA rotary-wing 5,195+ (which include not in addition to the above statistics)[2]
North Vietnam captured 877 South Vietnamese aircraft at war's end.[5] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_aircraft_losses_of_the_Vietnam_War
Getting rid of its Russian planes to make room for new American jets.
I suspect Flight Lieutenant Kowalski, no longer needed by the Polish Air Force may become Flight Lieutenant Kowalskyy of the Ukrainian Air Force.
The Polish Mig-29s are significantly updated from the Ukraine aircraft and probably will need some equipment removed (which the UAF isn’t trained on).
No, it isn't. Russia could technically declare us a belligerent and start attacking us, but countries have been supplying other countries at war with weapons for decades without ever themselves getting involved in shooting each other. To pretend otherwise is to ignore pretty much the last 70 years of world history.
“I was hoping this was more fake news, but apparently it is for real.”
The offer is real from Poland. The pentagon is denying there is a deal according to Jennifer Griffen on FOX.
The way I see it, it’s no different than Russia supplying North Vietnam with all those SAM’s that shot down our pilots.
This is the most censored war in history that we aren't a participant of so it's hard to tell what's what.
Near as I can tell the Ukrainians are winning based on sheer moxy, but they are also losing unless they get a No-Fly Zone, Migs, additional weapons, etc.
I have had to turn to twitter and just follow every Ukrainian and Russia propaganda arm, city by city, just to get a better perspective of what's going on.
They’re calling Blinken’s bluff and getting the Germans involved. Still clever on their part.
That was talk. This was action. BIG difference.
Well if you get the Poles in there it will multiply.
A forgotten part of history is that Poland defeated the Red Army in 1920-21 when Lenin tried to spread Communism to Western Europe. The Reds were winning for over a year and then in one final battle the Poles slammed the Soviet Army. Lenin gave up those plans.
Northrup Grumman and Boeing beaming at this. Obsolescence and replacement business.
They are not starting it, WE ARE! This is an in-your-face ACT OF WAR.

Exactly. The war can be de- escalated overnight. To the table for negotiations.1) Putin has given his demands for leaving. Basically enforcement of the Minsk agreement, which Zelensky and the US walked out on, and never enforced. 2) Zelensky can call for negotiations on the Minsk agreement that was signed by Ukraine back in 2014. 3) The US can demand negotiations ( or withdraw support for Ukraine). None of the three are white hats- all corrupted. Support none of them.
Russia and China provided military aid to N. Vietnam from 1962 to 1975.
Just saying.
