Venezuelan Oil is the thickest garbage oil and do they still produce Oil ? Oh wait the Biden Admin will help get everything going again
Russian oil is a lighter oil. That’s why the Russian oil from what I’m reading isn’t going to gulf coast refineries. Those were originally designed to process the heavy Venezuelan crude. Which is now replaced by Canadian crude.
Not only is their oil heavy but needs sweet, light crude mixed with it to refined into products. Gee where do you get sweet, light crude oil? The USA! So let’s buy heavy crude which requires sweet, light crude while we are reducing the producing of USA oil.
