Intervening would be like sticking your hand into the middle of a pit-bull fight.

...or Vietnam. 🤨

Nice post. I think the fact that Ukraine threatened to go nuclear if not allowed to join NATO (which would also mean going nuclear) pretty much was Putin’s JFK moment, regarding Cuba (in other words, no dice).

We were never buying “billions” in Russian oil “every day.”

This past month our imports from Russia have been: (000 per day)

1/21 0
1/28 20
2/4 138
2/11 93
2/18 106
2/25 0

The average for 2022 is 44k per day.
The average for the past year is 182k per day.

I am not sure where these writers and pundits are getting their numbers. But they are not real. The importation of oil is something that is tightly regulated and reported.

You and I agree that we should not be importing oil from anyone—as we should be making it ourselves.

But the hyperbole associated with this argument is strong and we need to deal in facts.

Nearly all of America has little interest in sub Saharan Africa. Yeah, that sucks, but after watching so many decades of never ending suffering there, I think we became completely numb to it all.

Even the BLM folks don't give a rats ass about what happens in Africa.

Don’t be naïve. Russia is not the bad guy. Ukraine has done plenty of poking the bear. Now the bear is giving them their just deserts. Ukraine people are unfortunately paying for the sins of their leaders—the fake President funded by Soros and stealing everything that is not nailed down and positioning Ukraine to stick it too Russia. NATO is nobody’s friend except for Rothchilds et.al. or should I say the “Globalists” who want to enslave all mankind. USA should stay neutral in this matter. The fact that the entire media is pushing the “poor Ukraine” line should be enough for you to look twice at this whole matter. Do not ever trust the US mainstream media—they are poisoning the US people with propaganda. Everything they say is a lie. IF they say “Go to A” then you had better go to B instead.

Or, BeijingBiden needed cover for declaring martial law before Nov, and to give him an excuse for inflation, gas prices, etc: “It’s Ukraine!”

Think that hyperboly? (sp?). Trudeau invoked martial law after BB told him in a telecon to use his federal powers. Putin invaded just after another telecon with BB.

And DJTrump got impeached for asking about Hunter’s corruption and BB bragging about blackmailing Ukraine into backing off on same.

Are you really so dim you don't even recognize the fact that the politicians are not stupid, they want to destroy America?

Sorry, but politicians in general are not a very impressive lot. They're just not. That said, they are in general narcissistic and highly ambitious - to the exclusion of ethics, and are therefore dangerous.

That is a good name. Lately it does feel like BidenRepublic. The similarities between the “you must put Ukraine before America” crowd and posts on Democratic Underground is eerie.

I don’t get it. Ukraine is as corrupt as they come and participated prominently in our Deep State coup that removed Trump.

Ukraine is indeed the underdog and we should support them.

I’ve done that

You have to strangle the one who’s winning enough to pass out and then keep the one who was losing from reattacking

Of use a flat shovel and knock both out

I’ve had both scenarios

Last time I was 62...a bit old to roll around and strangle pit bulls

So I used a flat shovel....took two whacks on the Scott bulldog....when he came to he was ready to get back at it

It’s just natural for male bull catch type dogs

Sorta like Ukraine and Russia

A state induced famine here and invasion there

Putin is the big Scott style American bulldog or a Dogo

the piano man cum president is a mere pit bull in this lopsided affair being propped up by globalist inc

The outcome is predetermined

Does the piece explain how Putin fits in to this? No matter what Soros et al did, Putin still needed to do his part. My theory is that Xi’s support was the thing that put him over the edge and gave him the confidence to invade the Ukraine. I do not see Russia and China as allies, and I think Xi wanted Russia to overplay its hand and be permanently weakened through this misguided war.

I have been wondering if Pooti is paying Biden a kickback for cutting out domestic production and and running oil prices up.
