How could we not invade Afghanistan?

The Taliban gave aid and comfort to Al Qaeda, which murdered thousands of Americans and caused billions of dollars of economic damage to the USA.

Bomb the $hit out of Iran. Bridges, power stations, telephone exchanges. Keep the water clean. They’ve been at war with us since ‘79.

Next take the advise of a distinguished senator. Break off a piece of Iraq and call it Kurdistan. Continued fighting over neighboring Kurdish peoples in Iran, Turkey, and Syria will keep them busy and out of our business.

BTW-that ‘distinguished’ senator. Guess who?

Why did we stay almost twenty years? Should have blown up all the jihadist leaders and left with notes left saying "we'll be back."

But no. Bush and Obama (with Biden) and even Trump stayed too long. In, boom, and out. Six months to a year....
