Even worse, this was in the Channel 4 article I posted:

IOW, they’re trying to be really, really nice. They don’t WANT to hold up traffic.
So this will be lame. No one will really notice. And that is the point of protest.
The Trump caravan around the DC Beltway in Oct ‘20 seemed to have more impact than this is looking to. (My cousin happened to drive along it when returning home that day - we were in the [small] Baltimore caravan.)
Yep... It is unfortunate. I guess we can throw away the concept of “Can’t cross a picket line”. It is going to go completely unnoticed except for us armchair and overpass fans.
