Here’s one way it could go:

The ICC announces an investigation into possible Russian war crimes in Ukraine. They find enough evidence to lay charges. Warrants are issued and Interpol is tasked with arresting the accused anytime they set foot outside of Russia proper.

Demands are made for extradition by the ICC.

Then it’s Putin’s move.
