Biden seem to be acting like Russia agent.
US banned Russian flights only after everybody else did. He is still trying to import oil. He tries to save SWIFT for Russian, etc.
All his sanctions are toothless like banning few oligarchs from traveling (secret - Russia is a huge place, there are lots of vacation spots there!) or banning Russian Vodka (secret - there have not been any substantial Russian vodka imports for a while).
Europeans NATO members are dragging Biden into any substantial support for Ukraine, and he does only the least he could as not to blow his cover.
Biden isn’t doing jack. Biden’s white hosue has the same Obama staffers from Putin’s original invasion of Ukraine. They did nothing in 2014, too. Susan Rice, Jake Sullivan, etc. They want Putin’s help on Iran deal, etc. So they are leading from behind here. It’s quite shocking actually that the socialist German is out in front of a POTUS. I guess that what we want in a way but not this much.
Yep. Biden has been on the wrong side since he and John Kerry and friends embraced the Sandinistas and opposed us mining the harbor in Nicaragua to keep the Russians from using it. I am not sure if it is out of socialist loyalty or because they were protecting the Democrat mob drug suppliers.
Putin has been known to tolerate oligarchs only when they support him!
Any time some of them started to criticize him, the oligarch ended up in Siberia or hiding abroad.
Putin has a folder on any and all of them. And the oligarchs know it!
So these “oligarch” sanctions are totally toothless!
Oligarchs have only two options. Follow the leader and keep their money or run abroad as a refugee.
