The International Federation of Cats (FIFe) has banned cats from Russia from participating in international exhibitions until at least May 31, the organization’s Russian branch told RIA Novosti.
It is noted that the decision was made against the background of Russia’s special operations in Ukraine.
Cats born in Russia can not be moved to another country, registered in the pedigree book issued under the auspices of FIFe.

The cats have announced a counterattack. Dogs are terrorized.
Because it’s globalist nonsense.
How the heck do cats not taking part in some cat competition hardly anyone cares about (especially the cats), put “economic pressure “ on Russia?
Correct on every point.
It’s not me. Not sure how I would handle it. But I can understand. You can’t really separate what’s going on there just because individual people are good. Hence, why many are calling for shutting off imports and so on.
(I’m betting you would never say this in 1940 about Germans.)
#46.
You’re deflecting from what was a general statement reply to a general statement.
It was not about the cats.
This has to be from the Babylon Bee.
Punishing cats for what the Russian government did? That’s just low.
Average citizens in any country have very little impact on what their country does in the foreign policy arena—punishing them is just cruel virtue signaling.
“Economic pressure on the Russian aggressors may be a way to end this without a larger war.”
Oh yeah, that strategy has a long history of success for decades—and centuries....
Not!
Stop buying the mass media propaganda—it is embarrassing.
“Stop buying the mass media propaganda—it is embarrassing.“
You are embarrassing , plus your cat is ugly.
Economic pressure on Russia may help end this.
The oligarchs are getting financially torched.
They may be able to pressure Putin.
Typical leftist symbolism over substance.
Good luck with that.
How are the sanctions with Iran going?
How about the North Korean sanctions?
In the 1930s the sanctions against Japan worked so well they decided to attack Pearl Harbor instead of negotiating.
Welcome to the real world.
Sanctions just cause more trouble—and create bitter and intransigent enemies.
It is the foreign policy move for the establishment dummies—great talking points for the mass media but guaranteed failure every time.
Its about the cats and the Russians, neither of whom care.
It’s pure virtue signaling of the worst kind.
What I want is free and open dialog so I can access it myself. I don’t need corporate media (like cutting off sources and censoring them) telling me what to believe. And their little kiddie acts of censoring (even something such as promoting moronic actions like cat shows) convinces me they’re intentionally pulling punches and spreading BS propaganda.
Time will tell if sanctions work.
Letting Putin rebuild the USSR while we do nothing is not a positive option.
Doing nothing isn’t an option. We will get pulled into this mess in some manner if it spreads .
Sanctions are way better than losing American lives.
The person in the wrong here is Putin, not us
Doing nothing is an excellent option—it is exactly what you should do when you are weak.
Sun Tzu teaches that when you are weak you go silent and build up your strength.
Failure to follow that advice can cause nothing but trouble.
