One characteristic of the narcissist is that he/she is never to blame for anything.
Goalpost moving, blame shifting, wordplay, redefinition, and — if all else fails — bald-faced lying is all you will get from them it's time for accountability.
If they have to, they'll escape before sun-up. If that doesn't work, people will die. But they'll never accept responsibility.
