Ukraine vs. Russia: Here's how Zelenskyy and his country win
FOX News.com ^ | March 2, 2022 | Rep Michael Waltz

Posted on 03/02/2022 3:56:34 PM PST by Kaslin

America is on the verge of losing a second democratic partner to the iron fist of authoritarianism – just six months after the fall of Kabul. The strong resolve and resistance of the Ukrainian people have thus far withstood the onslaught of Vladimir Putin’s armed battalions.

The world is watching in horror as Putin is once again showcasing the characteristics of his Soviet KGB past, unleashing a massive war on Ukraine and its territorial integrity. It’ll also be the second time Biden has presided over an invasion into Ukraine’s sovereignty where we will look back in the history books and wonder – why didn’t we do more to prevent war?

Last December, I had the opportunity to visit Ukraine on a bipartisan Congressional delegation to meet with Ukrainian military leaders, U.S. military advisors, and U.S. embassy officials to further understand the then-looming Russian invasion.

Republicans and Democrats stated publicly that U.S. lethal aid to Ukraine was moving too slow and President Biden’s refusal to implement sanctions wasn’t doing anything to deter Putin’s military amassment along the border. The die was cast.

Now in the early days of Russia’s unjust war against Ukraine, I’ve been amazed and heartened by Ukrainian people’s courage in their efforts to fight for every inch of their land. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has demonstrated to the world he is already a 21st century Winston Churchill by channeling "I would rather die on my feet than live on my knees."

Whether Ukraine’s forces can withstand Russia’s sheer military numbers remains to be seen, but there are three key components that will lead to a successful Ukrainian resistance: the will to fight, a sanctuary, and arms and other supplies for guerilla warfare.

We’re not much of an example of democracy any more.

Indeed. We have spent the last 20 years being taught every way an insurgency can outdo a far more powerful force.

Time to use that knowledge to ensure a lot of Russians end up buried in Ukraine.

I support Ukraine against the murderous vile Russians. But they are greatly outnumbered and outgunned.

the Unitparty is going to loose their biggest country to launder money. thats what it has been about for over 8 years. Follow the money and see how much “aid” Ukraine has received.

They’ve been fooled by this absurd deep state Q BS. Biolabs, white hats and so on...

Is Ukraine corrupt? Sure, what country isn’t? They (Ukrainians) are giving it to all because it is their land and they believe it to be worth dying for.

I’m with you, the more dead Russians the better.

The other side of the coin.....

Ukraine: The Country Where History Died
David Stockman

In light of the grotesquely one-sided Ukrainian war news on the MSM, it can be well and truly said that America circa February 2022 has become the land where history died.

From the sophomoric coverage of CNN and NBC, for instance, you would think that Ukraine’s borders have been universally agreed upon by one and all for eons; that the government in Kiev has done absolutely nothing to provoke Russian suspicion and anger; and that Uncle Sam, NATO and the European Union have flitted around the neighborhoods on Russia’s borders merely cheer-leading for democracy and selflessly passing out economic aid and cookies to the long-suffering Ukrainian peoples.

Well, no. Today’s hot war eruption in Ukraine would absolutely not be happening save for the violent coup of February 2014 that overthrew Ukraine’s democratically elected pro-Russian President; and which coup was funded, organized and choreographed by Washington-based neocons, busy-bodies and arms merchants who otherwise had no reason for even existing in the post-Soviet world.

Moreover, by reviewing the voting patterns of the 2010 Ukrainian presidential election we can see exactly how Washington’s blunderbuss intervention in support of the Maidan putsch put the kibosh on stable governance in Kiev and friendly relations with Ukraine’s historic neighbor and suzerain, Russia. That’s because while the 2010 election reflected the stark divisions of the Ukrainian electorate (see map below) it still produced a government that was reasonably acceptable to most of the electorate, and one which proceeded to work toward new arrangements with both Ukraine’s EU neighbors to the west and Russia to the east

Yah.

Vlad might disrupt the biolabs, MittNancyLGrahamHunters pipelines along with the DNC hacker farms, military and humanitarian aid kickbackers, money launderers, Epsteins 13 year old high cheekbone Ukranian girls, gun runners and drug dealers. All the reasons we love Ukranians.

Almost forgot the Nazis. We don’t mind that shit no more, either.

Surely you're not talking about Ukraine.

I've been to Ukraine many times. We're seeing is this totally fabricated whitewashed version of Ukraine as some beacon of democracy and freedom, amplified by elite Twitter bleucheques with brand-new Ukrainian flags on their profile pages.

People have no idea how corrupt that country is. There's a reason the Democrats turned it into a giant money laundering machine.

Not saying they deserve what's happening to them but, please.

And grease the payola channels.

Thank you for your service Congressman, but you’re a dangerous idiot disconnected from the American people.

“We have spent the last 20 years being taught every way an insurgency can outdo a far more powerful force.”

The world grew accustomed to no strikes, no retaliation. The source of munitions and expertise was generally safe. After all, the US rarely chose to escalate.

Russia will have no such compunction. They’ll go after it with everything they have.

Yeah, the enslavement of 40 million people is worth it if it punishes a couple hundred politicians.

/S (because I probably need to)
