How do they know the students are wearing them in their dorm rooms? Presumably they sleep in their dorm rooms. Does that mean they have to wear them when they are sleeping?
The Cal State dorms: it’s ridiculous. So the students go out and party in town which is now totally maskless. Grocery stores, private homes and apartments obviously, bowling alleys, movie theaters, restaurants. It’s a liberal college (they all are) in a conservative town and county.
Then the dorm dwellers come back to their dorms and HAVE TO PUT ON A MASK WHILE THEY WALK FROM THE LOBBY TO THEIR ROOMS. Also, no parents or anyone else is allowed into those dorms.
My son has gotten “written up” for playing a piano maskless in the dorm lounge area.
I feel like the Lorax, speaking for the trees—I speak for the college students in the United States because no one is speaking for them. And no, they all did not vote for this and they don’t deserve it.
They SHOULD be protesting and speaking up more, however. College students managed to end the Vietnam War in the 1960s but they can’t seem to get the muzzle off their faces now, even though the rest of the United States now (except prisoners I guess) has. Even the most leftist of left, Nancy Pelosi.
And every college kid in CA is vaxxed and boosted, too. Still masked indefinitely. The battle is not over.
