ATLANTA - Bold carjackers shot at a woman who was slow to give up her car during a Sunday morning Buckhead carjacking.
Fortunately the woman dove out of her car and was not injured.
The alarming attack happened at 8:26am Sunday morning at the intersection of Peachtree and West Paces Ferry Roads.
The female motorist was on East Paces Ferry Road at the red-light when she noticed two men who pulled behind her and jumped out trying to take her Nissan Sentra.
When the woman attempted to drive off, the suspects started firing. The woman dove out of the car, was not hit but surrender the vehicle.
The brazen carjacking has stunned many who live and work in the area.

Got a Ram 1500. Have a deactivated key. At the gas station put the real key in my pocket, put the fake key in the ignition. If some dude comes up and pulls a gun and says he wants the truck, no problem. Keys in the ignition. Dude gets in. Truck won’t start. Momentary confusion on the Dude’s part. I pull the Sig and no more Dude. My claim is that he still had the gun. How was I to know he wouldn’t get pissed and try to shoot me.
Southern ladies are generally noted for their good manners and ladylike behavior.
There are notable exceptions, like the female medical receptionist who REFUSED to let Shimmer1 sign in for her chemo.
Why? Because she didn't have a ride home.
I was her ride home. I was standing right next to Shimmer1. while this probable subhuman was telling her to get lost. (To be fair, I didn't walk in with Shimmer, I dropped her off and was in within minutes.)
It was only Shimmer being a lady and insisting that I don't make a scene by responding appropriately that enabled this female evil demon thing to retain her hearing and job.
I'm quite capable of raising my voice such that it can be clearly heard anywhere with a medical office. Louder if I'm angry.

Duncan, too. He decided that the taxpayers in Buckhead aren’t allowed to think and vote for themselves. They ain’t that smart.
Best part is, go be that so many white folks are moving into the city. They just approved “affordable housing” developments around the city. Ha ha ha.
Peachtree and West Paces isn’t anywhere near the Braves stadium.
The Braves are in Smyrna now.
Turner Field, however, was kind of a nightmare.
Not even close.
Home Depot is at Paces Ferry and 285, in Vinings, Cobb County. Not even in the city.
The scumbag POS Lt Gov squashed it. Kemp and Raffensberger get most of the headlines but Duncan and Ralston are some of the most corrupt in that place. And that’s saying a lot.
Having an M4, in that instance would have done her NO good.
Best thing to do is hit the gas and drive away.

Interestingly, this occurred probably less than a mile from the Governors mansion on West Paces Ferry Rd.
Buckhead was well in its way to a vote. Lt Gov Duncan rigged it and squashed it. He is a huge POS.
And the Georgia legislature keeps importing liberals from out of state to change everything about the state, just like North Carolina and soon Texas.
On top of that, out of control building and development has rendered Buckhead damn near impossible to travel through.
The cops, during certain parts of the day, from rush hour to rush hour cannot respond to calls in emergency situations. There’s nowhere for people to move out of the way, so the cops just sit in traffic with everyone else
They’re still there. Just as uppity, rude and repulsive as they were before.
Now they just have more security around them to insulate them from all the bad guys.
No. Evil never sleeps. But on the bright side [to most I am not one of them] . We replaced President Trump, an honest man. With Lying Joe Biden, The Biggest liar and Cheat known to man. So everything balances out once again.
The tough issue was Lt Gov Duncan. Duncan squashed it.
Atlanta would lose an insane amount of tax revenue with Buckhead leaving.
But their argument was, with so much development going on in other parts of the city, it would have been made up by that.
Just teens wilin’ doing nuffins.
We have friends who grew up in metro ATL, lived in the northern ‘burbs, and bailed out for Lake Martin a few years ago. We like visiting, but it’s a tad too remote for our tastes.

I know one of the attorneys who is/was working with the cityhood movement. Long time municipal attorney type.
They had a genius plan for dealing with low level criminals even in the face of a Fulton DA playing catch and release.
Get busted in City of Buckhead? They wouldn’t be using the Fulton County jail in downtown Atlanta. Instead, they’d contract with one of the south side counties for jail services, I think Henry. Maybe further. So you get released, it’s an hour ride for your ride to come get you, and a long way back to Buckhead.
Oh, and if the low-life’s car got impounded in the event? Impound lot is in Cumming.
The were going to make it very painful to get popped in their new city (that isn’t happening right now).
