The biggest boat I have ever driven was a 42' Footer. I'm quite sure that would go faster than the pictured Russian item.
That would be such a waste of a good tuna tower. That's my story, and I'm sticking with it. Use to watch the T.V. Show Tuna-War's or what ever. I remember only seeing one boat that used a tuna-tower, and had the long walk-out front of the bow to harpoon the Tuna. Plus, they had an eye in the sky, (small aircraft) directing them.
I'm guessing with the advent of drone's, they could replace the eye-in-the-sky. For a fraction of the cost of a fixed wing aircraft & pilot, fuel.
I don't know much about the Tuna fishing up North other than a few stories I've heard. We fish the warm waters of the Gulf Stream off the Keys and mainland FL. I do have a drone aboard that we use for photos. I've tried to use it to find weed (Sargasso) lines. It works to some degree but mostly gets in the way and is a distraction.
