The statement has the credibility of folks walking on the streets with placards saying "The End is Near." Could they be IPCC people?

The original microbes that developed oxygen-based metabolism and photosynthesis converted the earth atmosphere from a hydrogen-sulfide, carbon-dioxide mix into the present 19.5 percent oxygen mix.
The sky turned from yellow to blue as a consequence. There have been other interesting side effects.
Blue-green algae or plankton in the oceans and the plants in rain forests of various locations are still keeping the oxygen mix going.
