Looks like a personally built AR-15 to me. May be an M1-A. But red dot optics are so 10 years ago.

Hard to say it is not a normal AR pattern.
There are no forward assist nor dust cover cuts in the bolt.
With so many making them who knows.
But with out those to figures I am saying air soft.
