I think I read yesterday that Ukraine admitted it was fake news that they died rather than surrender, after Russia had said the same.
Not a big deal, but it shows how the media is covering things.

The 13 defiant dead at snake island was actually 82 surrendered. The ghost of kyiv fighter pilot was clearly video game footage, the old woman with the sunflower seeds probably never happened either. Anything that sounds like a line from a movie probably is.
Start with the “what” and the “who” of the fake stories before trying to dig into the “why”.

This must be what I heard about in the middle of our night - toxic fumes from the fire and people were being told to close their windows!! Shells falling on the city and toxic fumes should be avoided? I don’t imagine windows were opened there in the winter weather anyway!
