Ukraine’s Vice PM Asks Elon Musk To Deliver Starlink Internet, Musk Gets It Going In 10 Hours
Red Voice Media ^ | February 26,2022 | BY GREGORY HOYT

It appears that Elon Musk is able to deliver in ways that the Biden administration can’t when it comes to Ukraine – and ostensibly faster, too.

After Ukraine’s vice prime minister asked Musk to deliver Starlink internet service to Ukraine – in a conveyed tone that wasn’t exactly courteous – Musk was able to deliver in approximately 10 hours. On February 26th, Ukraine Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov took to Twitter to highlight the rocket fire they’re coming under and asking Musk if he could get Starlink internet services running in Ukraine.

Elon Musk], while you try to colonize Mars — Russia try to occupy Ukraine! While your rockets successfully land from space — Russian rockets attack Ukrainian civil people! We ask you to provide Ukraine with Starlink stations and to address sane Russians to stand.” Approximately 10 hours after Vice Prime Minister Fedorov posted the aforementioned, Musk responded to him directly on Twitter, letting him know that services were up and running and that additional terminals were “en route.”

Elon Musk @elonmusk Starlink service is now active in Ukraine. More terminals en route. 5:33 PM · Feb 26, 2022 693.5K Reply Share

“Like I said, you’re a real fanboy. Are your lips chapped yet from kissing his ass?”

Enjoy.

They now are after him for moving operations to Texas. Now comes racism law suits, SEC investigations, complaints about his satellites, etc.

Tesla now has a mighty Gegafactory in Texas. Nobody can change that.
Race based lawsuits paid for by a jealous UAL? They were there even before Dementia Joe seized power. Same with the SEC “investigation” which started in 2018. Musk is strongly fighting the SEC in court.
And his Starlink satellites are doing great.
What more ya got?

“You must be kidding. Starlink is already beamed to almost every country in Europe, including Ukraine and Russia. It’s just not available everywhere yet because of local, national licensing issues. Easy enough to turn it on when Ukraine’s government asked for it.”

Not sure what you’re getting at, it’s not your choice or my choice as to whether activating it in Ukraine is considered a combat action - the choice is Putin’s.

No it isn't.
Ukraine already had internet. It's not like there was no internet in Ukraine.
Ukraine is not Tonga which Musk linked up as well.

Sorry, I don’t follow. If Putin wants to get Musk’s attention, he has the toys to do so, and he has the big toys to respond to anything reaction we might have. It’s his choice, since we were too busy having Drag Queen Parades with our military to even notice his build up over the past 20 years.

You’re not getting invaded by Russia.

2 Falcon Rockets sent up—first one= 34 satellites—2nd one = 50 satellites.

All within 10 hours of requests from Ukraine.

Do you mean there have been launches since the scheduled one which took place this past Friday? Where are you getting this? Do you have a link?

Easy enough to follow . Ukraine has very solid internet already long before this Starlink which just came in.
Starlink did not change much of anything.

If Putin wants to get Musk's attention, he has the toys to do so,

With what? Musk controls over 25% of all active satellites.
What makes you think Musk will not respond to any attacks on his satellites with attacks on Russian satellites?
Just how is Russia going to defend against that?

I thought there was a $500 roof mounted antenna required to receive the signal.

It's his choice

Nope.
You go about attacking satellites of other countries and your own satellites get taken out.

Still PUTIN’s CHOICE, regardless of the risks.

This irritates me. I've been hearing "Starlink will be available in your area in 6 months", for the past 2 years.

Perhaps you could provoke an invasion for faster service?

Musk is a better man than Biden or any Democrat.

You set an amazingly low bar...

That’s like saying it’s your choice to shoot someone in broad daylight at Time Square with plenty of police around.
It’s your choice if you are ISIS. Might as well commit suicide.

Agree, still my choice...but I doubt Putin sees things as stacked as badly against him in this case, and even I thought he wouldn’t invade, due to the cost. So trying to predict him is simply a guess...which is why I look at relative assets to weigh the odds.

Too bad Musk isn’t eligible to be President of USA.

The same thought crossed my mind.

But then again obama isn't an NBC, and biden is non compos mentis
