This may be an indirect benefit of Biden’s total incompetence. Is it possible that Putin expanded his objective based on Biden’s extraordinary weakness, and the expanded objectives led to improvised and poorly thought out plans? I expected Putin’s objectives in Ukraine to be narrower, and I wonder if he grabbed for too much on the spur of the moment.

There are not many trustworthy sources right now, so take everything you read with a grain of salt, and give the truth a little time. The Ukrainians are not on the verge of taking Moscow.

I think Putin is getting a hard case of dictator’s disease where he starts to believe his own propaganda and no one dares to contradict him.
He expected the Ukrainian military to be very weak and for the people to welcome his troops with flowers.

Sounds like they are winning.
Indeed we don’t know many details, but what we do know at this point:
1) Putin’s Plan A of the Ukrainians surrendering as soon as they see Russian troops has failed
2) Plan B - The rapid encirclement of seizure of Kiev has also failed
The problem is that Russia still has many other options in Ukraine, and large reserves outside of the country.

I hate to break it to those “experts” but as of 10 minutes ago there wasn’t zippo going on in Kiev. I was just on the live cams. Nothing.
Young Russians on social media realize that the whole world is against Putin. They will be taking to the streets more every day.
