Putin’s remaining 2/3rds of his invasion force are scrubs.
Russia is not making the needed process with the 1/3 that were supposed to have Karkiv and Mariupol 2 days ago and Odessa yesterday and Kiev today.
That’s why Putin’s going nuts.

I think more likely Putin is planning to create East and West Ukraine with a Kyiv Wall down the middle. A totally insane idea. He must be isolated and removed from power. Regime change in Mosocow is the only reasonable option now.

Uh, Ukraine is the size of France. Not all of it is a war zone and it borders Poland. Might want to brush up on your geography.

Putin didn’t run the numbers obviously on how many troops it takes to capture and occupy a city. Let alone a country the size and spread as Ukraine.
It took the Soviet union almost 800,000 to take back Kiev in WW2. And Putin’s trying to take the entire country with only 200,000 troops with 2/3rd of them being scrubs that he’s afraid to deploy?

It’s getting to the point where I’m hoping there’s a few Russian Generals who are prepping to do the right thing.
I think they went along with Putin in the belief this would be quick, and only required a few attacks on key military installations to get Ukraine to the bargaining table.
The longer it goes on the more I think something is going to happen.

Wrong. If Putin could have carpet bombed cities he would have done it already. It’s politically unviable. And Grozny held out for a month. Putin’s army of conscripts and mercs simply can’t destroy Kyiv and control it. Sorry.

Probably true, but being barely 48 hours into an invasion of a country the size of Ukraine isn’t exactly the time to throw up your hands and declare a quagmire.
All he would need to do is blow some bridges. The country is bisected.
