We had the same thing at Duke University a number of years ago, except it was a girl and she got 2 hearts before dying. Everyone kept saying how beautiful she was, etc. What’s that suppose to mean? Homely people deserve to die? IMHO, these hearts should have gone to people who are here legally and have been working and paying insurance premiums. If no one like that is a match, then OK maybe a humanitarian case can have it.
That was the case I was referring to. It was a heart, not a kidney. I agree with everything you wrote. Didn’t the family of the girl end up suing the hospital?
