The bit here is that humanity has only two base load generators, dams and nukes, that don’t emit that nasty, nasty CO2 (i.e., the stuff that is fundamental to all life, but I digress). Dams are sorta limited by geography. So, nukes are the only way to support civilization.

Ah, there is the reason why treehuggers fight this — they don’t support civilization. They want all of YOU dead — since you too frequently engage in wrongthink.

The treehuggers have been against nukes for ideological reasons, no science involved — just like with global warming, the fake vax, etc. None of their data stand up to scrutiny on any of these subjects.

Too many people don't get that - they think it's just crazy hyperbole and extremist paranoia. But that is EXACTLY what they want - to get rid of the 'surplus population', and especially anyone that is 'regressive' in their views, thereby slowing down the agenda. It's the same sort of thinking that fuels the fantasy of space travel - escaping the over-populated world to find another.

You are right. If we don’t use fossil fuels nuclear is the only other option. We’ve put dams in just about every place possible so that’s maxed out.
