And apparently, the NATO nations haven’t paying their fair share of the costs. That is what Trump demanded of them. Lemme guess... Joe Biden let them off the hook.
So Senile Slow Joe is sending U.S. troops to Germany to guard the Russian gas lines coming in there? Somehow anyone can look at a map and understand that Germany is no longer on the front lines of NATO’s border with Russia. Sending troops there means nothing.

Putin knows that this “shifting” of troops to Germany and Poland is just a bluff. He knows that Biden has no intention of putting “boots on the ground” in Ukraine. Biden has already admitted this.
This action may have given Putin some pause if Biden was mildly coherent, made this move a month or two ago, and had not royally screwed up in Afghanistan.

This speaks to the mental state of the Russian government that they really do think they can pull stunts like this with impunity.
The Russians are suffering from what some would call “Success Disease”.
They won in Chechnya. They won in Georgia. They won in Ukraine the first time. And right now they’re winning in Ukraine the second time.
They think they’re unstoppable.
And that makes them dangerous and that’s why we need NATO to keep these idiots on a leash.

SWIFT is how Russia gets paid for oil and gas in US Dollars.
Nobody is going to turn off that tap. And if the US tries, several European countries will cut their own deal with Russia and leave NATO.
