My take from before tonight’s declaration of war by Putin:
1) Putin hates Biden. He has been listening for 4 years now to attacks on Russia and his own self by the Dems, while doing their Russia collusion by Trump rap, with constant impeachment efforts, and is sick of being the leftist liberals punching bag. He has been quiet about the maligning of his Country and himself by a bunch of Dem dolts, Biden included. Biden has personally badmouthed Putin and Putin doesn’t like that. He seethed in silence. No more, this is his payback, calling the weak kneed and spineless Biden’s bluff.
2) Biden and China’s leader have had this all planned out for some time now. They are in cahoots. Putin goes first, building up troops to attack Ukraine with, while President Xi Jinping of China gets the Olympics (and Paralympics coming up in about 10 days in China) out of the way. Then its his turn to invade Taiwan. They have each other’s backs as to keeping each other in fuel, goods, food, etc. so they both will bypass any sanctions by the West. They are both striking while the incredibly weak and senile Biden is President, their best opportunity to achieve their demographic ends. They know Biden is an incompetent fool.
3) Putin is not a happy camper about the encroachment of NATO countries surrounding his Country that he considers to be part of his sphere of influence. Just like we didn’t like it when Russia was attempting to establish a missile base in Cuba many years back, as it was right off of our shores, Putin doesn’t like NATO encircling his Country.
By the way, I wonder how many people know that China is making inroads, at the moment commercially and financially in a variety of South American countries that have leftist gov’ts. Do we like the idea of China being within this hemisphere that we consider are own sphere of influence? China’s next step might be to establish military bases in certain South American countries. Will we like that?
Ukraine has already applied for NATO membership, and that was a step too far for Putin.
4) Historically, Putin sees Ukraine, in particular Kiev, as an integral part of Russia, from whence the empire of Russia sprang. Just like Crimea (Russia’s only warm water port for its military ships) was part of Russia until Nikita Krushchev who worked in Ukraine when a young man and rose to political prominence there although being a Russian, with a Ukrainian wife, gave the Crimea to Ukraine as a “gift” in 1954. Putin wants Ukraine and Crimea folded back into Russia from whence they originally came. He got the Crimea back during the weak Obama regime, and now Ukraine during the inept Biden regime.
Putin wants a puppet regime in Ukraine.

Obama had his Syrian pipeline war and i know you be surprised to find a pipeline in this region. Heck obama loves nasty, dirty electricity so much he should just stay out of all pipeline wars. Taiwan is not neutered. China will take casualties that will be unacceptable to Chinas upper class. Ukraine is not a nuclear tripwire in US DOD/pentagon think. Taiwan is a nuclear tripwire.
The place to watch most closely is North Korea. It has been to quiet from that Chinese client state.
