I have the feeling he is of the mentality, what’s left of it, that every POTUS should get a war/conflict, as that has been that way the most of history, and will do something to escalate it thinking it will make people worship him.
Will it be air strikes, boots on the ground? Who knows. His sanctions haven’t made a difference.
I hate to say it, but boots on the ground, that results in a US casualty is likely the best outcome that will galvanize the majority of the US population to really turn aganist him and not escalate it too much military wise.
