That’s the point...he didn’t want them voting on it. He was gonna lose the vote so he rescinded the order. Once he rescinded the order, the debate ended and there will be no vote. If he’d lost the vote, he might very well face a vote of no confidence. Which he may anyway, because he forced every member of the Liberal Party to vote for Naziism, and then he yanked the order a couple days later. I bet a LOT of Liberals and NDP are very, very, very angry at him right now....

Thanks. That makes it much clearer to me. I can see now why Trudope would NOT have wanted the Senate to vote against him.
