***This is NOT nation building. Ukraine is already a nation. They’re being bullied by Russia, who is already a nation. Completely different circumstances than nation-building.

***I agree with that sentiment. The issue we are discussing is what WE should do. Trump tried to hold NATO feet to the fire, getting them to pay their bills. That was the right thing to do. And it is also the right thing to do that we would allow Ukraine into NATO as a new dues-paying country, and the right thing to do alongside that is to set up some programs for excising all the corruption in that country.
