Mayoral Candidate Targeted By Accused BLM Shooter Speaks Out After Suspect Made Bail

Louisville mayoral candidate Craig Greenberg voiced his opposition to Black Lives Matter activist Quintez Brown, who is accused of attempting to shoot Greenberg last week, of being bailed out of jail only two days after the attempted shooting.

The Black Lives Matter Louisville chapter said on Wednesday they were in the process of getting a cashier's check to post Brown’s $100,000 bail. The money used to bail Brown came from the Louisville Community Bail Fund.

"Our criminal justice system is clearly broken. It's nearly impossible to believe that someone can attempt murder on Monday and walk out of jail on Wednesday. If someone is struggling with a mental illness and is in custody, they should be evaluated and treated in custody. We must work together to fix this system," Greenberg said in a statement. "Sadly, like others who suffer from a broken system, my team and family have been traumatized again by this news."

Greenberg added gun violence is "unacceptable under any circumstances for any reason anywhere" and that the system must be fixed so everyone can focus on preventing violent crime.

So the mayoral candidate is okay with knife, vehicle, baseball bat..... and other forms of violence. No surprise the can't-i-date is a democommie. Perhaps the 'victim' is too traumatized by the event to persue the office of 'mare'. No doubt Louisville will do the right thing. Or 'left' thing more likely.

Remeber that school shooting last year around Dallas? That kid killed one and wounded 3 others and was out the next day. Haven't heard anything about that since?

I could be wrong, but I think he was arrested again for breaking conditions of his bail. If that's the case, I don't know if he's still incarcerated or not.

“unacceptable under any circumstances for any reason anywhere”

Wrong.

If you point your gun at me, or charge me with a knife or other weapon, my “gun violence” is perfectly acceptable.

Unless you’re arec barwin shooting a movie and a cinematographer at the same time. Then random acts of ‘gun violence’ are written off as mere accidents. To paraphrase whoopsee “It wasn’t ‘violence, violence’.”

As I pointed out before on another thread, the last time Louisville had a Republican Mayor (government) was 1933.

Louisville is the balancing left to an otherwise resoundingly conservative state.

Many people forget of all the BLMTifa marches and riots the only place I can recall police were actually shot was here.

[[It’s nearly impossible to believe that someone can attempt murder on Monday and walk out of jail on Wednesday. ]]

I wish he had gone on to say

“especially in light of,the fsct that peaceful Trump supporting protestors languish in prison without the possibility of bail, simply because a liberal judge deems them ‘too violent to risk being let go on bail”, all for simply walking into the Capitol building and yelling a little bit, after being invited in by Capitol police no less.

The justice system is clearly broken when you have such a massive discrepancy in cases. A perp attempts murder, and is let go while, peaceful protestors languish in so,Italy confinement denied bail. What’s wrong g with this picture?”

It’s a snowball’s chance in hell that a republican could get elected as mayor in Louisville.

And this dimwit candidate is just another gun violence gun violence idiot. Not BLM violence, not criminal violence, not lowlife scumbag violence. Nope, just gun violence.

Louisville has an extremely high rate of shootings and murders per capita most of which is on the west side of town. Thus making it black on black crime. But again no liberal candidate and no liberal voter is going to ever admit to that.

Drive through Jefferson County and there’s nothing but coexist signs and just be kind signs all over the place in people’s yards. Kind of sickening to me.

Also, Louisville PD is nothing to brag about either.

I think most people would figure if your last name is Greenberg odds are you’re a leftist or modern liberal if one prefers that less mean sounding name

Could be the exception but I’m talking generally speaking

It Is my hometown but I despise it now.

This Lorenzo Johnson was charged by the Liberalville authorities with ASSAULT ..WTH. How do you shoot 2 policemen with a 45 caliber and it not be attempted murder???

I’ve read an opinion that’s a lot of the cause of the recent uptick on murders. These judges often give a 20-25 year sentence for murder but with parole. So they are out in 10 yrs or so.

Finally I can’t find any recent updates other than this one which I can’t even read as my device is not capable:

The mayoral candidate is lucky it was “gun violence” by someone who was a bad shot.

If it was a knife or baseball bat there may not have been a “miss”.
