I flew Blackhawks for over 20 years. Snow landings and dust landings are very tricky. Little room for error.
I had many hairy flights. Engine failures, emergency landings, tree strikes…it’s a dangerous business. If you have a good crew and remain calm and follow your EP’s and limits…most incidents are survivable.
