Good points. The greatest mistake Putin has made is to put Russia on the path to becoming a Chinese vassal.
Russia will never be more than a very junior partner in its alliance with China.
Russia always felt like they’ll never be totally accepted by the West, going all the way back to Peter the Great, to the point where it became a self-fulfilling prophecy.

When the time is right, China will take the mineral/oil in Siberia, which they claim is Chinese territory.
