Imagine if Hitler (if I might engage in hyperbole for a moment, though Putin can be blamed for something like 150,000 dead Chechens from Russian brutality in the Second Chechen War, and Putin can easily kill a whole lot of people in Ukraine) was invading Poland just now but American conservatives kept saying “what about our borders”. Yeah, our borders are not defended. That doesn’t mean Hitler isn’t invading Poland or make it a good thing.
