In all fairness, this sounds a lot like what the war party (R and D) said about opponents of the Iraq war.
This is pretty much what war hawks say when they want war. They would say this about opponents of war with Hitler. They will say that regardless whether it is a good war or a stupid one.
And the legacy media will repeat the narrative until the war party gets its war.

Could be true. It seems the Left wants this war. I read on another site how a group of them believe that Putin will be defeated by Ukraine and how the Russia army is demoralized, weak, ill prepared and their equipment is antiquated and useless.
If this were all true, why isn’t Nato rolling into Moscow now and claiming victory? Because the Russian army is still a formidable enemy. And a ground war with them would be devastating on all sides.
