I know what was done, but I can also tell you that idiot Canadians laugh when I explain it to them.
I tell them that Canada has become 1939 Germany and everybody cheering the government’s actions have become 1939 Germans.
They laugh and laugh at that silly idea.

A Canadian friend of mine was the same, it is all okay.
I’m guessing more like 1933, but 1939 could be just down the road.
I’ve tried explaining this to some distant family members....they up and say they’re not interested. They think I’m just too much into political stuff and they’re not - they just want to live in society comfortably. It’s unreal. I ended up telling her to just stick her head back in the sand and she might figure it out some day.
