Actually, that was as good as a lot of the real Carnak stuff, which was often forced and goofy, e.g., Answer: "El Paso." Question: "In football, what do you do if you don't El Runno or El Punto?" But the goofiness was part of what made it funny, and I think Carson's goofy skits helped give rise to the comedy clubs of the 70s and 80s. People saw those goofy skits and thought, if Carson can do it, so can I.

Those skits that we did - just before Christmas - were pretty popular, and people from other departments would come to watch.
