I correctly posted elsewhere that horses know where they are stepping, and that the horses were trained to down people and step on them. Further, that someone riding the horse was getting their jollies.

Sidenote: yrs ago when i a child, heard that horses never stepped on people.

i saw the horse video couple days ago and i remember that horses eys were covered...could not see. Did i see it right?

I remember in the epic film Gandhi, the police in South Africa at one point came at their pickets on horseback, and everyone lay down flat on the ground, but bunched together, and the horses refused to step on them, to the chagrin of the police. Gandhi’s autobiography contains no such episode. But there were plenty of incidents through history of mounted policemen trying to suppress demonstrations, and I’m sure this tactic is documented somewhere. It does take some testicular fortitude to do that, no doubt.
