Pollster Frank Luntz said Sunday on ABC’s “This Week” that Republicans will win control of the House and Senate in the 2022 midterm elections and that only former President Donald Trump could prevent it.
Guest-host Jonathan Karl said, “Are Republicans feeling some anxiety about tying themselves too closely to a Donald Trump where it seems to be the legal walls seem to be moving in on him?”

You crack me up ChicagoConservative. I saw the headline and the first thing that came to my mind before clicking on the thread was, “What a putz.” I don’t use that word often, but it must really fit Luntz, or it is half-assed alliteration day.
I suspect that Luntz is saying this so that, if the Republicans succeed in November, Trump get no credit. Luntz is also protecting himself from refutation if the Republicans are unsuccessful. Then he could say that his prediction was correct because of the Trump factor.
