She had lost her 17-year-old son, Trayvon, after he had walked too slowly in the rain at his father’s housing complex in Sanford. It made his killer, George Zimmerman, think he was “suspicious.”

Well I don't mean to be picky, but I believe sweet Trayvon smashing Zimmerman's head against the sidewalk might have played a wee part in his spot of bad luck that night.

Besides that his mother, Fulton abandoned him not long after birth.

Trayvon was raised by his father’s girlfriend who was dumped not long before Trayvon decided to go to the convenience store and on the way back to his father’s girlfriend’s apt decided to attack Zimmerman.

The odd thing is the father didn’t seem concerned when he and his girlfriend returned to the apartment after midnight.
