Being an Uber driver is risky enough in the daylight....a woman driver alone at night is a target for all the creeps who come out after dark.
I know he had the gun to her head so there was probably no way unless she had been trained, but I wish there would have been a way for her to overpower him and use a weapon herself.
It’s such an insanely stupid way to commit a crime due to the fact that there’s a load of evidence leading up to the crime; phones, accounts, GPS data, times/dates, etc.. In this case dash cams too.
Unfortunately, such criminals are that dumb and it doesn’t stop them. So sad for this woman.
Events like this could be kryptonite for Uber, I wonder how many women drivers there are that will think twice about working for them. I’ve had plenty of female Uber drivers. Maybe live broadcasting is needed, something...
