I can tell you one thing: I’ll never visit Canada. There is no rule of law there. And frankly, if I banked with TD Bank I would have gone there today and closed my account.
Good post worth repeating.
You try to block the movement of a horse mounted policeman, you get trampled.
I wonder how many of you were equally incensed at the video of the border patrol on their horses?
Watching a live stream from Ottawa right now and the guy doing it says that one protester is now dead - had his head stomped in by a horse.
We need to end funding of many alphabet federal agencies because of their partisan and illegal acts. But it is activity like this in Ottawa that makes me ponder whether defunding the police is also necessary.
Each one of these wicked thug scumbags need the Solzhenitsyn remedy with extreme malice.
“You try to block the movement of a horse mounted policeman, you get trampled.”
After this whatever happens to the Canadian cops then as far as I care they deserve it. A pox on them for supporting the overthrow of the Charter.
Sir Robin, you’ve really changed your tune over the past 24 hours

That said, I think you have over-corrected far too much.
/sarcasm
What are you doing on a conservative website, Jackbootway? Ain't you got some vaxxes to pimp?
You asked and here it is:
“And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family? Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand?... The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin’s thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt! If...if...We didn’t love freedom enough. And even more – we had no awareness of the real situation.... We purely and simply deserved everything that happened afterward.”
― Aleksandr I. Solzhenitsyn , The Gulag Archipelago 1918–1956
I’m not familiar with police uniforms... but the area where their name patch goes, maybe it isn’t covered up, maybe it was never there in the first place.
There has to be spare uniforms doesn’t there? New uniforms with a reserved spot to affix a name badge.
What if the person wearing the uniform isn’t police at all. What if the person is military?
He could be wearing a spare police uniform, one that has never been assigned to any officer.
Its not just Trudeau, but his fellow travelers as well.
Probably don't like pepper spray and mace either.
You're probably right that it should extend past the city limits. Let the suburbanites go without and then see how they feel about some trucks parked downtown and some limited honking. I firmly believe this is the best recourse now that Trudope is doubling down.
Interesting that some Provinces are going on their own and reducing/cancelling restrictions and mandates in varying degrees. I keep wondering what Trudope is going to do about that. I think there are 4 of them now. Difficult to keep track.
The Canadian military is many things but they would not act like these cops.
“ . A general strike is justified.”
A General strike is absolutely necessary.
“the Solzhenitsyn remedy”
What’s that?
Humph, so I take it no Hatian truck drivers. This is good to know since it appears to be ok to trample white truck drivers.
Why Canadian military? Canada is a member of NATO. I’m sure other member countries might want to help and not make it public. If the unnamed police are military, that opens the possibility they are foreign as well.
