It’s an agreed settlement. It’s not going to languish at all, that money is going to be paid out. As well it should. As a retired Air Force judge advocate, it surprises me not a whit that the report was negligently omitted. I can only imagine how many others have also not been reported.

My mistake, not a settlement. But the DOJ, which represents the US government in all FTCA cases, will likely not appeal.
