Many give up, finding it to hard to compete in their role as either a man or woman in society. I do believe this is in part due to the teaching of everybody must be a winner and feel good about yourself.

It should not be a competition in your tole, they need to learn to just be the best you can and all succeed.

This whole re-gendering thing is narcissism, people finding a less competitive category to allow them the perceived luxury of making themselves king or queen(actually as a god themselves) in there chosen identity.
