Senator Bob Menendez (D-NJ) on Thursday touched on his bill to sanction Russia to deter Russian President Vladimir Putin from invading Ukraine.

Menendez told MSNBC’s “José Díaz-Balart Reports” that “we cannot have a Munich moment” and we can’t return to “1938 when Neville Chamberlain said let’s give Czechoslovakia to Hitler.”

Starting to see where this is going. Freepers this is all following a script.

News of a pontoon bridge for troop build up
news of a kindergarten being bombed
News of a diplomat being expelled
This clown now speechifying on war with Russia.

All on the same day. World events just to not line up like so close together unless managed / planned. So much in one day is a real red flag. They are working a narrative to a script.

LOOK, RUSSIAN SQUIRREL.

That’s all this is. Everyone over the age of 6 knows to NOT LOOK for the SQUIRREL, but to look where the other doesn’t want you to look.

Why are libtards ALWAYS on the wrong side of any issue?

NATO needs to be dissolved. Or - kick Turkey out and add Russia. NATO to counter the ‘Russian Threat’ is literally insane. China is a threat. Iran is threat. Russia at this point in time would be a better ally than woke Western Europe. If we would stop poking them we could find common ground in the ME and places like Venezuela.

This fake administration is going to make a real mess of the world, but then everybody knew that when it was “certified”.

Broken clocks are right twice a day and for some of the Democrats this is their moment.

Allowing Russia to invade Ukraine and then Moldova and just allowing them to get away with it is going to encourage the Russians to pursue their demands from December 10, 2021:

Article 1: the parties should not strengthen their security at the expense of Russia’s security;

Article 2: the parties will use multilateral consultations and the NATO-Russia Council to address points of conflict;

Article 3: the parties reaffirm that they do not consider each other as adversaries and maintain a dialogue;

Article 4: the parties shall not deploy military forces and weaponry on the territory of any of the other states in Europe in addition to any forces that were deployed as of May 27, 1997;

Article 5: the parties shall not deploy land-based intermediate- and short-range missiles adjacent to the other parties;

Article 6: all member States of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization commit themselves to refrain from any further enlargement of NATO, including the accession of Ukraine as well as other States;

Article 7: the parties that are member States of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization shall not conduct any military activity on the territory of Ukraine as well as other States in the Eastern Europe, in the South Caucasus and in Central Asia; and

Article 8: the agreement shall not be interpreted as affecting the primary responsibility of the Security Council of the United Nations for maintaining international peace and security.

Who's "we" ?

The United States didn't say "let's give Czechoslovakia to Hitler." England did.

Chamberlain was the Prime Minister of England, not the President of the United States.

We can't say "let's give Texas to Mexico" either, Mr. Menendez.

Sad it all started with the mistake of the First World War that led to the necessity of the Second World War and all that has followed since.

I’m waiting to hear that if we don’t fight Russia over Ukraine, “they” will be in San Francisco; its always San Francisco and frankly, from my business travels to Russia I would rather have San Francisco be populated by Russians rather than the oddballs, lowlifes and people living on the sidewalk that have turned it into a pigsty.

"Russia and China are allies."

Maybe, but they hate each other. But since Menendez has referred to 1938, it's important to understand how these nations viewed each other. Russia didn't trust Germany or England. Germany didn't trust Russia or England. England didn't trust Germany or Russia. As circumstances dictated, alliances were formed or broken.

Two weeks before Germany invaded Poland, Germany and Russia signed a non aggression pact. Later, in June of 1941 when Germany invaded Russia, that pact went out the window.

Maybe but Russia has N.Korea, Iran, Cuba and Venezuela as their only friends. Former Soviet allies hate Russians.

I disagree.

Ceding the Sudetenland to Germany was wise public policy. Obviously, after Poland, it can be questioned in retrospect, but these decisions were made by WW I veterans who had an excellent understanding of what another European war would involve (about which they were correct).

What is Europe doing about it?

It’s on their doorstep, they should be the ones worried the most.

Any troop movements? Warbird flights? Warnings of military action? Stern letters? Anything?
