My wife hates bed & breakfast’s in general. She would much rather stay at a big hotel/inn.
However, the few times we have ventured over to ski at Okemo or some other place we have stayed at some local BnB.
Every owner has the same story. They used to work in NYC on Wall Street or some big financial institution(blah, blah, blah). They got burned out on that. Now, they make pancakes and the beds.
Yep, I think that was the exact situation with these owners. And they made us pancakes with genuine maple syrup on the side.
