“Corporations are the new communism.”
The “free market” policy of lax antitrust enforcement, started during the Reagan administration, has resulted in the domination of entire market segments by a few large corporations allied with and protected by big government. These corporations control access to capital and have the ability to freeze out or crush smaller emerging competition.
Free markets thrive when capital is available, costs of entry are low, rule of law is applied evenly and fairly, and there are many competitors. Innovation thrives and prices are lowest when there are many competitors.
We have the same situation today we had 120 years ago when Teddy Roosevelt and others were busting the trusts that dominated key industries.
Today instead of trusts we have corporate socialism. A revolving door through which a small group of politicians, government bureaucrats, executives, and spouses of politicians, move between government jobs and corporate executive roles. Dick Cheney was a prime example. Congressman, appointed roles in government, corporate CEO job at Halliburton, the capping off his career as VP of the United States.
Free market capitalism today exists at flea markets and at the local level where scrappy contractors, handymen, and independent laborers work for cash. Large business cannot survive today without an alliance with big government and those running the government.
Right, so we have to help the democrats destroy the Constitution so we can save the Constitution. Stop being so emotional, there is no room for emotionalism in the fight against our progressive communist democrat enemies. Just sayin, we don’t want to become them.
Buried in the article is that donations from individuals is WAY UP!
More than enough to offset the “funds” bribes that came from corporations.
Biden is getting ideas from Trudeau. Any one who donates to “unacceptable “ politicians with “unacceptable “ views will have their assets frozen. After all, they are supporting “domestic terrorism.”
The biggest donation that I’ll make, is during the election, and my donation is a vote or votes for ALL republicans running against the corrupt democrats trying to destroy this country.
No bigger donation than the votes. All that’s needed is to know that democrats need to be voted out.
