The RINO’s need a few crushing defeats for them to understand that they are a small minority. They still think they can run the show. The vast majority of them need to be purged. A few might be able to recognize which way the wind is blowing and save themselves. I’d guess some will come around after RINOs get slaughtered this year and in 2024 but it will take two successive drubbings in Republican primaries for reality to set in for them.
The “hold your nose and vote for the RINO because we need a majority in the house and senate” caucus on this site believes that RINOs like Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger are better than Democrats. The fact is that RINOs like Cheney and Kinzinger do far more damage from the inside than the Democrats do from the outside.
If a RINO is defeated by a Democrat, it means that a conservative can be elected in 2 years, as opposed to a backstabbing RINO holding office for 30 years.
